Create one standard buying specification

Write down the account characteristics your customers request most often. Keep the template short enough that you will actually reuse it.

Separate core stock from experimental stock

Do not build a large inventory around an untested niche. Keep more of the categories that repeatedly sell and test new types in smaller quantities until real demand appears.

Track inquiries, not just purchases

If buyers repeatedly ask for a certain year, quantity or account type but do not close, that still tells you something. The issue may be price, trust, specifications or availability rather than lack of demand.

Use current-stock checks instead of assumptions

Repeat buying becomes easier when you can send the same requirement template and receive a current availability answer. This is more reliable than assuming last month’s inventory still exists.

Protect cash flow

A reseller can lose flexibility by holding too much slow-moving stock. Let customer inquiries influence what you replenish instead of expanding every category equally.

Build more than one acquisition channel

Marketplace demand can change when visibility rules or bump limits change. A reseller website, search traffic and marketplace listings can complement one another so the business is not dependent on a single traffic source.
